The Military History Museum occupies three exhibition halls and an outdoor area displaying aircraft, tanks, and military vehicles at a former military base.
The museum collection contains 9,272 items documenting Slovak military developments from 1945 to 1992, including equipment from the Czechoslovak army period.
The Military History Museum preserves and exhibits military equipment that represents technical advancements and defense capabilities of Slovakia through different periods.
Visitors can access the museum from Tuesday to Sunday during summer months, with guided tours starting at 10:00, 13:00, and 15:00.
The outdoor exhibition features multiple MiG fighter aircraft, Mi-24 helicopters, T-34 tanks, and numerous military vehicles in operational condition.
