Wat Sa Long Ruea

Wat Sa Long Ruea is a Buddhist temple in Tha Ruea, Thailand, where a massive replica boat named Ruea Suphan Hong stretches approximately 100 meters (328 feet) across the grounds. The compound includes multiple structures with traditional Thai design housing prayer halls and monastic areas.

The district was renamed Tha Ruea in 1917, replacing its former name Nakhon Noi, to commemorate a significant royal occasion during the reign of King Songtham. This change in name reflects an important moment that shaped the area's modern identity.
