Rama IX Super Tower, Proposed skyscraper in Huai Khwang, Bangkok, Thailand
Rama IX Super Tower is a proposed skyscraper in the Huai Khwang district that combines office space, retail, and hospitality uses. The development will include a high-end hotel, conference facilities, and a public observation deck as part of its mixed-use program.
The project was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and KCS Associates. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026 with completion targeted for 2033.
The tower reflects Thailand's modern architectural direction through its incorporation of 24-hour office facilities and an observation deck overlooking Bangkok's skyline.
As a planned development, the tower is not yet open to visitors. Once completed, the public plaza and observation deck will be accessible, while other spaces serve commercial functions.
The building incorporates LEED Platinum standards from the start of its design. This approach makes it one of the first towers in Thailand designed with such environmental certifications as a core requirement.
