Haseki Hürrem Sultan Hamamı, Hammam in Istanbul
The Haseki Hürrem Sultan Hamamı is an architecturally significant hammam (bathhouse) located in Istanbul, Turkey.
Its use as a public bathhouse for centuries has played a key role in Turkish social and cultural life.
Today it is restored and open to visitors with modifications that allow it to function as a modern spa.
It is one of the few still standing structures designed by Ottoman chief imperial architect Mimar Sinan.
