Danamandıra Nature Park

The protected area extends across 381 hectares of land, containing three lakes bordered by reeds and surrounded by dense forest vegetation.

The location received protection status for nature conservation in 2006 before its official designation as a nature park in December 2015.

The municipality of Esenyurt obtained a 49-year lease of the park in 2016 to provide recreational spaces for residents of urban districts.

Visitors must pay an entrance fee for vehicles at the park gates, which helps maintain the facilities and natural environment.

The three lakes within the park form an interconnected ecosystem that supports numerous bird species and aquatic life forms.
