Ethie Castle, Medieval castle in Inverkeilor, Scotland.

The sandstone castle spreads across 15,091 square feet and includes multiple wings, towers, and decorative dormers built throughout different centuries.

In 1665, the Carnegie family acquired the castle, and the 7th Earl of Northesk, who commanded with Nelson at Trafalgar, incorporated naval symbols into the architecture.

Sir Walter Scott drew inspiration from Ethie Castle for the Castle of Knockwhinnock in his novel The Antiquary during his frequent visits.

The castle contains ten bedrooms with modern facilities, following extensive renovations completed in 2016 that preserved original features like timber paneling and lead windows.

A hidden room discovered within the castle walls contained a child's skeleton, leading to reports of unexplained phenomena and timepiece malfunctions.
