Mold, County town in Flintshire, Wales.

The town center of Mold contains numerous stone buildings, independent shops, and the largest street market in North Wales, attracting visitors every Wednesday and Saturday.

Constructed around 1140 during the Anglo-Norman invasion, Mold Castle underwent multiple sieges by Welsh princes before its final capture by Llywelyn the Great in 1201.

Theatr Clwyd operates as the main performing arts venue in North Wales, producing numerous theatrical productions and maintaining connections with London's West End.

The town provides regular bus connections to neighboring cities, with multiple accommodation options and a central location for exploring northern Wales.

The Mold Cape, discovered in 1833, represents one of the finest examples of Bronze Age metalwork in Europe, crafted from a single gold sheet.
