Aberglasney, Country house in Llangathen, Wales
The medieval mansion features stone walls, elegant arches, and ten acres of gardens with multiple walled sections and an Elizabethan cloister garden.
The residence belonged to one family for ten generations, tracing their lineage to Elystan Glodrydd, before being sold to the Rudd family around 1600.
The grounds include a ninfarium, a tropical glasshouse constructed within the central ruins, displaying numerous exotic plants from international locations.
Located just off the A40 road between Llandeilo and Carmarthen, the gardens remain accessible to visitors every day except December 25th.
Six restored brick aviaries, originally constructed for ornamental pheasants, later housed hunting dogs before their complete renovation in 2004.
