The Vaughan family built the first mansion in 1565, replaced after a fire in 1754, before the Cawdor family commissioned a new Renaissance-style building in 1827.
The mansion transformed from an American military base during World War II into a campus for Carmarthenshire College in subsequent decades.
The park's nature trails open during weekends and bank holidays, featuring a 1.7-mile walking route through woodlands and parkland areas.
A 20-acre deer park within the estate maintains a population of fallow deer, while peacocks roam freely throughout the grounds.
