Alexandra Tower is a residential complex located at Princes Dock with 201 apartments distributed across 27 floors. The structure rises approximately 88 meters and features floor-to-ceiling windows offering views across the River Mersey and waterfront area.

Construction began in 2005 and was completed in 2008, marking a turning point in the transformation of the old dock area into a modern residential zone. The building soon became one of the city's most visible landmarks during that period of waterfront redevelopment.

A large glass panel separated from the facade in 2010 due to temperature variations, prompting extensive safety modifications to the building. This incident brought the tower into national attention and led to new inspection standards for similar high-rises.
