Allington Castle, Medieval castle in Allington, England.

The stone fortress spans 42 acres of woodland along the Medway River banks, featuring six towers positioned irregularly along its curtain wall.

Built between 1279 and 1299 by Stephen de Pencester, the castle incorporated elements from an earlier manor house demolished during Henry II's reign.

The Great Hall of the castle received King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn during their visit to Sir Thomas Wyatt around 1530.

The castle functions as a private residence and wedding venue, accessible through scheduled Kentish Lady boat tours departing from Maidstone town center.

For nearly five decades, the castle served as a Carmelite convent before transitioning back to a private residence under Sir Robert Worcester.
