Christ Church, Walmsley

Christ Church is a 19th-century Gothic Revival building marked by pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and an octagonal turret featuring a wooden bell stage. The structure was constructed using red sandstone dressings and topped with a roof of Westmorland slate.

Edmund Sharpe designed this building during the 19th century when Gothic Revival architecture was flourishing across England. Today it holds Grade II listed status, reflecting the Victorian era's architectural legacy in the region.
