Little Kit's Coty House, Neolithic dolmen in Tonbridge and Malling, England

The Little Kit's Coty House contains between 19 and 21 sarsen stones scattered across the ground in a seemingly random arrangement.

This burial chamber, constructed around 4000 BCE, represents one of the earliest examples of monumental architecture in Britain's Early Neolithic period.

The monument forms part of the Medway Megaliths, a collection of stone structures that mark the transition from hunter-gatherer societies to agricultural communities.

Visitors reach the archaeological site through a footpath connecting to the intersection of Pilgrim's Way and Rochester Road in Kent.

Local traditions claim that anyone attempting to count the scattered stones will never arrive at the same number twice.
