Endcliffe Hall, Grade II* listed mansion in Fulwood, England
Endcliffe Hall stands as a 36-room Italianate structure with a three-storey square Belvedere tower, ashlar stonework, and a hipped slate roof in Sheffield.
Built between 1863 and 1865 by Sheffield architects Flockton & Abbot for industrialist John Brown, who made his fortune manufacturing armor plates from Bessemer steel.
The mansion opened to the public for three days after completion in 1865, drawing large crowds who admired the craftsmanship of local workers.
The property currently serves as headquarters for Army Reserve unit 212 Yorkshire Field Hospital, with restricted access limited to military personnel.
The interior maintains its original features, including a 60-foot-by-30-foot saloon that once displayed John Brown's art collection and nine bedrooms with period furnishings.
