Kew Baptist Church

Kew Baptist Church is a Protestant place of worship located on Windsor Road in Kew, designed with modern spaces to accommodate religious services and community gatherings. The building provided facilities for congregational meetings and a variety of social and spiritual activities throughout its active years.

The church was established in 1861 as Salem Baptist Church in Richmond before relocating to Windsor Road in Kew in 1973, when it adopted its new name in 1990. This move marked a significant chapter in the congregation's life, establishing a fresh presence in the Kew community.

The church maintained a strong connection with the local population through regular services, Bible study sessions, and community support programs until 2020.

The congregation made a deliberate choice to dissolve at the end of 2020, bringing to a close more than a century of religious activity at this location.
