The Barn Church, Kew

The Barn Church occupies a corner position at Atwood Avenue and Marksbury Avenue, featuring exposed wooden beams throughout its L-shaped structure.

Constructed in 1929, this religious building incorporated timber elements from a 17th-century barn originally located at Stonehall Farm in Oxted, Surrey.

The church maintains regular Sunday Parish Eucharist services at 9:30 AM and conducts special All-Age worship sessions on the first Sunday of each month.

The building includes a parish room with an upper gallery, created in 2002, which provides additional space for community gatherings and church activities.

At a construction cost of £5,000, this structure stands as England's first consecrated barn church, incorporating possible ship timbers in its framework.
