Municipal Borough of Slough, Municipal district in Buckinghamshire, England.

The Municipal Borough of Slough was a local government district in southern Buckinghamshire comprising parts of Upton cum Chalvey and Stoke Poges parishes. The area functioned as an administrative zone with council offices and civic services.

Following a public meeting on April 28, 1863, Slough was established as a local government district under the Local Government Act of 1858. The status later evolved when it became an urban district in 1894 and then a municipal borough in 1938.

The coat of arms displayed a swan symbolizing Buckinghamshire alongside brick-axes, accompanied by the Latin motto Fiducia et vi meaning confidence and strength. These symbols reflected the local identity and the industrial craft heritage that defined the area.

The main civic buildings were centrally located: the Town Hall was built in 1937 on Bath Road and served as the primary administrative center. Visitors can find council facilities easily within the town center area.

The area underwent a significant administrative change in 1974 when it was transferred from Buckinghamshire to Berkshire. This boundary shift fundamentally altered the local government structure and attached it to a new county.
