Pickett's Lock, Navigation lock in Edmonton, England.

The lock measures 95 feet in length and 19 feet in width, with a drop of 6 feet 5 inches on the River Lee Navigation.

Originally constructed in 1770 and rebuilt in 1861, the lock incorporated Portland stone from the demolished old Westminster Bridge during its reconstruction.

The Canal & River Trust renamed the lock to Alfie's Lock in 2015, recognizing the contribution of local resident Alfie Saggs who served as lock keeper.

Access to the lock is available through Montagu Road via Pickett's Lock Lane or from the Lea Valley Viaduct through the River Lee towpath.

The lock remains manually operated despite its capacity to accommodate barges up to 130 tons, unlike other modernized locks in the area.
