Sandcastle Water Park is an indoor water park on the seafront in Blackpool, Lancashire, with a range of slides and pools all under one roof. The entire building is heated, so it runs throughout the year regardless of the weather outside.
The site opened in 1986, replacing an older outdoor pool that had previously occupied the same ground. In the years that followed, local authorities took over management and steadily added new rides.
The park sits on the Blackpool seafront and is closely tied to the town's tradition of seaside day trips. Many visitors combine it with a walk along the promenade or a visit to the nearby Blackpool Tower, treating the whole strip as one outing.
