Scottish Industrial Railway Centre, Railway museum in East Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Scottish Industrial Railway Centre maintains a collection of standard gauge steam locomotives, diesel engines, and industrial railway equipment from different periods.
The museum opened at Minnivey Colliery in 1980 before relocating to Dunaskin Heritage Centre in 2002 to preserve Scotland's industrial railway heritage.
Visitors can learn about Scotland's mining history through exhibits showcasing the transportation methods used in coal mines and whisky production facilities.
The museum operates on selected dates throughout the year, offering train rides with admission prices of £6 for adults and £4 for children.
The center houses the only operational fireless locomotive in the United Kingdom, which runs during special demonstration events.
