Skipton House

Skipton House is a modern office building at Elephant and Castle featuring a large open atrium with a glass roof and balconies extending across multiple floors. The building opened in 1993 after being designed by architect Paul Cayford and served as a new base for Department of Health staff. It took over the functions previously handled by Alexander Fleming House, becoming a key administrative center for British healthcare operations.

The structure serves as headquarters for the NHS Counter Fraud Authority and maintains strong connections to British healthcare administration.

The building sits next to the Bakerloo line entrance of Elephant and Castle Underground station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Its location on London Road places it in a well-connected area of south London with good transit options.

The exterior surfaces display dark brown marble cladding across 250,000 square feet of office space spread through multiple levels.
