St Cosmas and St Damian Church, Keymer, Gothic Revival church in Keymer, England
St Cosmas and St Damian Church is a Gothic Revival church built from stone with a bell tower that houses six bells. The structure incorporates architectural features from several different historical periods.
A Saxon church once stood on this site before a new building was constructed in 1866 by architect Edmund Scott. The replacement incorporated architectural features from the 14th century structure that preceded it.
The church serves as a gathering place for worship and community life, with a robed choir and altar servers participating in regular services. Families use the space for fellowship and children's activities on Sundays.
A large community hall stands next to the church and hosts various activities and events. Visitor parking with dedicated spaces for people with mobility needs is available on the grounds.
The churchyard contains five Commonwealth war graves remembering local soldiers from both World Wars. These memorials stand as quiet reminders of those who died in service.
