Upminster Tithe Barn Museum of Nostalgia, Historical agricultural museum in Upminster, England.
Upminster Tithe Barn Museum displays over 14,500 items from household life and farming practices spanning multiple generations in Essex. The collection includes domestic goods, farm tools, and working equipment from different time periods.
The structure was built in 1450 by a priory connected to Waltham Abbey and has maintained its original architectural style for over 500 years. The building reflects construction methods and features typical of barns from that medieval period.
The collection reflects how people in this region lived and worked through everyday objects and tools on display. Visitors can observe how household tasks and farming practices evolved across different time periods.
The museum is within walking distance from Upminster station, roughly 2 kilometers away. It opens on select Saturdays from April through October, with extra dates available in May.
In 2024, the entire collection was temporarily relocated due to major renovation work at the site. The project is funded by support from the National Highways Company.
