St Mary's Church, Llanfair-Mathafarn-Eithaf

The church structure features rubble stone construction with a rectangular nave measuring 16 meters long and a shorter chancel of 5.6 meters length.

Founded in 1301, the church underwent significant modifications in the fifteenth century with the addition of a chancel and connecting arch to the presbytery.

The building maintains strong ties with Welsh poet Goronwy Owen, who served as curate before departing for America in the eighteenth century.

Services alternate between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer on Sunday mornings, serving three combined parishes in the region of Anglesey.

The churchyard contains an eleventh-century stone cross that functioned as a sundial, while inside stands a wooden communion table from 1667.
