BBC Elstree Centre

The BBC Elstree Centre is a television production facility in Borehamwood with seven large studios and purpose-built outdoor sets. The complex sits between Eldon Avenue and Clarendon Road and functions as a working production environment.

The site started in 1914 as Neptune Film Studios and changed hands several times before the BBC purchased it in 1984. That acquisition established the television production center it remains today.
