Surrey Docks Farm

Surrey Docks Farm is a working farm on the Thames riverfront in Rotherhithe with farm animals, vegetable gardens, and learning spaces. The site spans several acres and gives visitors a view of farmland directly across from the tall buildings on the opposite bank of the river.

The farm was founded in the 1970s after the area had been left unused for years, then relocated to its current site which was once a medical facility. The transformation of former dockland into a place for farming and learning shows how the neighborhood changed over time.
