Riverside South, High-rise building in Canary Wharf, England

Riverside South is a high-rise building on the western side of Isle of Dogs that houses offices, residences, and shops across multiple levels. The structure connects two towers of different heights through an elevated middle section, forming a single integrated complex.

The site received planning approval in 2004, with construction starting in 2009 under J.P. Morgan's ownership. This project was part of the broader transformation of the Canary Wharf area into a contemporary business and residential hub.

The architectural design by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners incorporates modern elements that reflect London's transformation from industrial docks to financial center.

The development sits near Westferry Circus and connects to several public transport options including the Docklands Light Railway and Underground stations. Walking around the area is straightforward, and you will find multiple transit links within easy reach.

The building operates under a 999-year lease agreement, an unusually long rental term for a modern structure. This arrangement shapes how the property is managed and used in ways that differ from typical contemporary projects.
