The Church of St Mary the Virgin stands by the Thames River with an octagonal entrance tower and tall apsidal chancel with a south chapel.
Stephen Wright, the Clerk of Works at Hampton Court Palace, designed and rebuilt the church structure in 1752, replacing a medieval building.
The interior features Sgraffito decorations from 1892 by Heywood Sumner illustrating the gospels, while pillars display carved foliage representing four seasons.
Weekly services occur every Sunday at 9:30 AM in the main sanctuary, followed by refreshments in the adjacent Parish Hall.
The church walls contain paintings of Seraphims and Christ the King created by local artist George Ostreham in 1892.
