The Church of St Margaret stands with its flint walls and stone dressings, featuring a square tower that rises prominently against the Norfolk countryside.
The church tower, constructed around 1410 by Sir Simon de Felbrigg, remains after the original village relocated northeast following a 16th-century plague outbreak.
The interior holds numerous brass memorials commemorating the Felbrigg family members, including Simon de Felbrigge who died in 1351 and his wife Alice.
The church maintains regular worship services and operates in conjunction with other local parishes, including St Mary's Church in Roughton and St Andrew's Church in Metton.
The pipe organ inside the church originated from St Botolph's Church in Banningham and was transferred to this location in 1997.
