Benton Castle

Benton Castle is a medieval fortification in Burton with two round towers of different heights flanking the main entrance. These towers lead to an inner courtyard and demonstrate the typical structure of medieval Welsh defensive architecture.

The fortification was built in the 13th century as part of a defensive network protecting the region of Rhos. It served to guard territorial boundaries and support local communities during the medieval period.
