The Tower Museum occupies a historical structure within Union Hall Place, featuring permanent exhibitions about Derry's development and maritime discoveries near the Guildhall.
The museum, established in 1992, exhibits artifacts from the Spanish Armada ship La Trinidad Valencera, which sank off the Donegal Coast in 1588.
The Mabel Colhoun Collection presents substantial documentation of regional customs through personal artifacts, photographs, and archaeological findings from Northern Ireland.
The museum opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering family tickets at £15.00 for two adults and three children with last admission at 4:00 PM.
Visitors access an open-air viewing platform at the top level, presenting views across the city center, medieval walls, and River Foyle.
