Westborough, Historical town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States.

Westborough spans across 21.6 square miles of land, featuring Lake Chauncy, multiple ponds, and an elevation of 91 meters above sea level.

The land was initially inhabited by Nipmuc Indians who used the Sudbury and Assabet Rivers before the town's official incorporation in 1717 as Massachusetts' hundredth town.

The town maintains three elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school, serving a population of 21,567 residents from diverse backgrounds.

Westborough follows a New England open town meeting system with a five-member Board of Selectmen overseeing licensing and administrative appointments.
