Keystone Building, Office skyscraper in downtown Boston, United States.
The Keystone Building is a 32-story office tower in downtown Boston rising approximately 400 feet (122 meters) with distinctive rounded corners and vertical grooved patterns across its facade. The structure occupies a prominent position on High Street and houses multiple commercial tenants within its office floors.
The building was completed in 1971 during a period when Boston's financial district was expanding vertically with new commercial structures. Architect Emery Roth & Sons designed it as the skyline was transforming with modern office towers.
The building represents the modern architectural movement of the early 1970s, incorporating functional design elements that shaped Boston's commercial development.
The tower is serviced by 16 elevators providing efficient access to its office floors throughout the building. Its location on High Street in the central business district makes it easily accessible with good connections to surrounding areas.
The structure was originally established as headquarters for Keystone Custodial Funds through a collaboration between Daniel Rose of Rose Associates and Central & District Properties from London. This international partnership shaped the building's initial purpose and development.
