Paradise Theater, Historic movie palace and entertainment venue on Grand Concourse, The Bronx, United States.

The Paradise Theater features Italian Baroque architecture with marble fountains, classical paintings, and a ceiling that reproduces a night sky with stars.

Architect John Eberson designed this 3,885-seat theater, which opened in September 1929 with a screening of The Mysterious Dr. Fu Manchu.

The theater stands as one of five Wonder Theatres built by Loews cinema chain, equipped with special Robert Morton pipe organs called Wonder Mortons.

Located at 2417 Grand Concourse, the theater spans 52,000 square feet, making it the second largest auditorium in New York after Radio City Music Hall.

The Paradise Theater remains the only atmospheric movie theater in New York City, earning landmark status for both its exterior and interior features.
