First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church is a Gothic Revival church in Little Rock featuring pointed arches, vertical lines, and intricate stonework throughout its facade. The structure occupies a downtown location and displays the distinctive religious architecture of its era.

The congregation formed in 1828 and represents one of the oldest Presbyterian gatherings in Arkansas. The current building was constructed in 1921 by architect John Parks Almand.

The building displays English Gothic style as preferred by religious institutions in the early 20th century. The soaring arches and vertical lines create a space that draws people into quiet reflection.
