Arlington Hotel, Historic resort hotel in Hot Springs, United States.
The Arlington Hotel is a spa resort in Hot Springs featuring 500 rooms spread across multiple floors in a building with Spanish-Colonial Revival architectural style. The structure sits at the intersection of Central Avenue within Hot Springs National Park.
The current Arlington Hotel was built in 1924 as the third building on its site after fires destroyed earlier structures from 1875 and 1893. Following these losses, a more durable structure emerged that became a defining landmark for the town.
The hotel preserves rooms where famous guests once stayed, including Al Capone and Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman. These spaces reflect its role as a gathering place for prominent visitors throughout American history.
The hotel offers guests access to thermal mineral baths, massage services, an outdoor swimming pool, dining facilities, and meeting spaces all within walking distance. Bathhouse Row with its historic bathhouses is just a short stroll away.
The original bathhouse elevator from 1924 still operates manually, making it a rarity among modern elevator systems. Three newer guest elevators replaced the initial passenger lifts in 1969, yet this historic lift continues to function.
