The Henrico Theatre features art deco architecture with a classical facade, decorative marquee, and original interior design elements from the 1930s.
Opening in 1938, the theatre initially charged 25 cents for adult tickets and served as a community bomb shelter during World War II.
The venue maintains its legacy by screening classic films, hosting live performances, and organizing community gatherings throughout the calendar year.
Visitors can access the box office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 12 PM and 4 PM, with a spacious parking lot for 135 vehicles.
The second floor reception room includes a kitchenette and accommodates up to 60 people for private events before scheduled movie screenings.
