Kingsbridge Armory

The Kingsbridge Armory is a nine-story red brick building in The Bronx featuring detailed brickwork, towers, and a curved metal roof that stands out in the neighborhood. The structure occupies a full city block and remains one of the area's most recognizable buildings.

The building was constructed in 1917 as a military facility for the New York National Guard and earned landmark status in 1974. It was later added to the National Register, recognizing its importance as a historical structure.
