Lincoln Hall, Academic building at University of Illinois Main Quad, US.
Lincoln Hall features ten exterior panels depicting events from Abraham Lincoln's life and includes multiple classrooms across its Georgian Revival structure.
The Illinois State Legislature allocated 250,000 dollars in 1909 for the construction of Lincoln Hall, which opened its doors in February 1913.
The building houses departments of Communication and Sociology, serving as a central facility for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Following renovations completed in 2012, Lincoln Hall received upgrades including air conditioning, wireless networks, and modern audiovisual equipment in classrooms.
Students maintain a tradition of rubbing the nose of the Lincoln bronze bust at the entrance for academic success before examinations.
