Lowell Holly Reservation

Lowell Holly Reservation is a protected area of woodlands and wetlands that spreads across two peninsulas between two lakes. The grounds feature various native shrubs and trees, while trails cross through hilly sections and flatter ground alongside water.

The area was developed in the early 20th century by two nature enthusiasts who planted thousands of specimens across the site. Later it was transferred to a conservation organization to secure its future as public land.
