Log Chute

Log Chute is a water ride set in a mountain environment with two lift hills that propel riders upward. The course concludes with a steep 40-foot (12 m) plunge into a splash basin.

This ride opened in 1992 as Paul Bunyan's Log Chute within the original Knott's Camp Snoopy park. It remains among the few attractions that have operated continuously since the park's beginning.

The Paul Bunyan and Babe figures connect the ride to classic American logging folklore rooted in Minnesota's history. These characters make the setting feel tied to the region's past way of life.

Solo riders must be at least 47 inches (120 cm) tall, though children 36 inches (90 cm) or taller may ride with an adult. Expect to get wet near the splash zone, so plan accordingly with waterproof gear or a towel.

The queue area features a memorial chair marking where baseball player Harmon Killebrew hit a legendary 520-foot home run at the old Metropolitan Stadium. This small tribute keeps local sports history visible to riders waiting in line.
