Middle Haddam Historic District is a historic area in Haddam, Connecticut, that spans 110 acres along the Connecticut River. The area contains about 58 historic buildings displaying different architectural styles from the 18th century through the 19th century.
The area served as an important port and shipbuilding center from 1730 to 1880, constructing vessels for trade with the West Indies. This maritime tradition shaped the community's economic importance across generations.
