Our Saviour's Atonement Lutheran Church is a church building in Washington Heights located at Bennett Avenue and 189th Street. The property includes the main sanctuary along with an adjacent parish house now called the Cornerstone Center.
The congregation formed in 1927 when two separate Lutheran churches merged to create a unified community. This union allowed the establishment of a stronger parish that has continued at the same location ever since.
