Pike Lake State Park

Pike Lake State Park spreads across wooded terrain in southern Ohio, with a lake sitting at the center surrounded by dense forest and rolling hills. Trails wind through the landscape, and the park contains developed areas for camping and day use alongside natural sections.

The Civilian Conservation Corps shaped the site in the 1930s through development work, leading to its official establishment as a state park in 1949. Archaeological evidence indicates the area held human settlements centuries before modern park creation.
