Rebel Yell, Wooden racing roller coaster at Kings Dominion, Virginia
Racer 75 is a twin-track wooden roller coaster located at Kings Dominion amusement park in Virginia. The structure covers a length of approximately 3,368 feet and reaches a maximum height of around 85 feet above ground level.
Philadelphia Toboggan Company built the ride in 1975 when the park first opened. The original name Rebel Yell was changed to Racer 75 in 2018.
The roller coaster changed its name from Rebel Yell to Racer 75 in 2018, reflecting both its racing configuration and opening year at Kings Dominion.
Visitors must be at least 48 inches (122 centimeters) tall to ride. The two trains depart simultaneously and reach speeds of approximately 56 miles per hour (90 kilometers per hour).
From 1992 to 2008, one of the two trains ran backward along its track. This setup gave riders a completely different experience depending on which side they chose.
