Anaconda

Anaconda is a steel roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Doswell that stretches across Lake Charles with red supports and yellow rails. The ride features several inversions, an underwater tunnel, and various turns positioned both above the water and over land.

The ride was built in 1991 by Arrow Dynamics on the site of the former King Kobra coaster, making it the park's first multi-inversion roller coaster. This marked a turning point in the park's history as it introduced a new level of thrill to the facility.

The ride represents an era when amusement parks began blending water features into their designs to enhance thrill experiences. Visitors can still feel this connection between water and excitement as the ride moves across the lake.
