Tumbili

Tumbili is a steel roller coaster in Doswell that carries riders on a track about 770 feet long with drops and spins. The eight-seat trains reach speeds around 34 miles per hour and complete the ride in about 55 seconds.

The ride was built after The Crypt attraction was removed in 2020 and finished construction in 2022. It marked a refresh of this area of the amusement park with updated entertainment options.

The name Tumbili comes from Swahili and means monkey, connecting to the African theme of the Jungle X-Pedition area. Visitors notice this cultural link as they walk through the section and take in the themed decorations around them.

Visitors should note that this ride can be intense for those with fear of heights due to the multiple steep drops and quick spins throughout the course. It is best to visit early in the day to avoid long waits and experience the ride during quieter periods.

Each ride plays out differently depending on how passengers are distributed and positioned within the train, creating different spin patterns throughout the journey. This variation means every visit offers a slightly different experience, even if you ride multiple times.
