Woodstock Express

Woodstock Express is a wooden roller coaster at Kings Dominion that features a winding track spanning about 1,400 feet. The coaster reaches heights around 35 feet and speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.

The coaster opened in 1974 as one of the park's first two attractions and carried a different name when it debuted. It remains one of the oldest wooden roller coasters still operating at the park.

The ride has gone through different character themes over the years, reflecting partnerships that shaped what families could experience at the park. These changes show how the attraction stayed relevant to visitors' interests.

Each train holds about twenty passengers seated two across in two rows. Visitors should check height and weight requirements before riding and wear comfortable shoes since the park involves lots of walking.

The coaster is valued by enthusiasts for its classic wooden design and was recognized as an ACE Coaster Classic. Despite its age, it maintains its original construction while modern safety features keep riders protected.
