Hurler, Wooden roller coaster at Kings Dominion, Virginia, United States

Hurler was a wooden roller coaster at Kings Dominion amusement park in Virginia, running along 3,157 feet of track and rising 83 feet (25 meters) above ground. Trains traveled at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour (80 kilometers per hour) through the winding wooden framework.

The ride opened in 1994 and operated for more than two decades before closing in 2015. Its wooden frame later served as the foundation for the hybrid coaster Twisted Timbers, which opened three years after closure.

The ride initially featured themes from the Wayne's World movies, complete with movie references and character appearances throughout the station and queue area.

Each train consisted of seven cars that could hold 28 riders in total. The ride could accommodate around 1,100 visitors per hour during peak season.

The layout followed a triple out and back design with numerous banked turns and airtime hills during the roughly two-minute ride. The entire wooden structure remains partially visible today, as it was rebuilt to form the base of the new hybrid coaster.
