Seneca Caverns, Show cave in Flat Rock, United States.

The underground complex spans seven accessible levels, reaching depths of 110 feet with limestone formations and irregular chambers throughout the passages.

Two boys, Peter Rutan and Henry Homer, discovered the cave in June 1872 while hunting rabbits when they fell through an opening in a brush pile.

The cave received its current name from Don Bell in honor of Chief John Seneca, replacing its original designation as Good's Cave after the property owner.

Tours operate seasonally from May through October, with extended hours during summer months and shorter schedules during spring and fall periods.

The cave contains Ole' Mist'ry River, an underground stream that flows through the lower levels and connects to a regional groundwater system.
